Training

Bridgebank Ltd understands and recognises the importance of a high level of competence in all functions and levels of the business.

This enables us to deliver quality construction work that exceeds our customer expectations, prevents injury and ill health to our workforce and others, meets legislative requirements and motivates our workforce.

All members of our workforce receive training, information and instruction to help them perform their duties to the highest standard.

We regularly assess the skills, knowledge and competence of our workers and plan appropriate training to address any skills gaps and refresher requirements. All employees are encouraged to identify competencies they wish to develop.

We do not permit workers to carry out any activity for which they do not have the necessary skills, qualifications, experience or knowledge.

• Management skills for managers and supervisors
• IT literacy
• General health and safety awareness
• CITB, CSCS skills competency qualification (including managers, supervisors, operatives)
• CITB, CPCS, NPORS plant operation competence
• First aid at work
• Manual handling operations - including kinetic method of handling
• Fire control procedure
• Use of abrasive wheels
• Face fit testing
• Confined space entry
• Use of CAT and Genny (services locating)
• Safe working with display screen equipment
• Environmental awareness
